Juliana completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology with a Minor in Law in 2017 at Carleton University, and her Juris Doctorate in 2021 at the University of Ottawa. Most recently, she received her Certificate in Family Mediation from York University following a six-week intensive training program that refined her negotiation, drafting and problem-solving skills.
During the program, she was able to delve deeper into areas of family law through simulated, hands-on role-play scenarios. She gained a deeper analysis involving the intersectionality of issues experienced by clients going through family matters, especially during her Domestic Violence course.

Prior to practicing exclusively in family law since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2021, Juliana has experience working in criminal defence. Juliana understands the dynamic nature of family law and her passion for ongoing learning makes her a proactive and emotionally intelligent advocate. Juliana is also fluent in Tagalog.

 

Kira is compassionate and dedicated to guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging transitions with clarity, integrity, and care. Called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, Kira brings a thoughtful and client-centered approach to resolving legal issues ranging from separation and divorce to parenting, property division, and support. Clients value Kira’s grounded guidance, strong communication, and unwavering dedication to their well-being, both legal and personal.

Kira earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, where she honed her advocacy skills and developed a deep commitment to access to justice. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology from McMaster University, a background that informs her empathetic and nuanced understanding of the human dynamics at play in family disputes. During law school, she distinguished herself as a skilled advocate, winning the Dentons Out on Bay Street Moot Competition, with the final round presided over by Justice Nordheimer of the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Kira brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice, informed not only by her legal training but also by years of community involvement. She is particularly interested in 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy and the emerging field of fertility law. While she enjoys the challenge of litigation, she is equally passionate about alternative dispute resolution, including negotiation and mediation, as a means of achieving practical, cost-effective outcomes for her clients without unnecessary conflict.

Outside of her legal practice, Kira is a visual artist, and photographer working in both digital and film formats. Her creative pursuits sharpen her attention to detail and allow her to bring a unique, empathetic lens to her work in family law.

Chyvonne received her Legal Administrative Diploma from Mohawk College in 2012. She has since obtained extensive experience and advanced knowledge in family law. Chyvonne maintains her vow to continue learning, both within and beyond the scope of her career. While Chyvonne has explored other areas within and beyond the legal field, her passion and purpose remain rooted in family law, where she believes she can make the most meaningful impact with clients, often during a time of despair and anguish. The field of family law resonates with Chyvonne both professionally and personally, given her own co-parenting journey, which has deepened her personal insight and understanding. This firsthand experience provides a unique enrichment to the work she does. Chyvonne supports clients with authenticity, professionalism, patience, and care. When it comes to the inner workings of the court, Chyvonne is highly adept with multiple jurisdictions and their respective procedures, enabling her to effectively advocate for clients in a tailored manner.

Julissa has recently completed her undergraduate studies at York University. As a pre-law and social work major, her education has equipped her with the interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with clients, ensuring a client-centred approach from the moment potential clients contact our office. She is always friendly, patient and quick to assist whenever a client is in need. With plans to attend law school in 2026, Julissa remains focused on building a solid foundation in all aspects of the legal practice through her work at Caspersz Chegini LLP. She is committed to making a meaningful impact in family law through her contributions to our Team and our clients.
